The Honey House
It's no secret that we're a little bit insane for studio pottery here at Honey House! The creation of the Honey House, formerly a honey processing house, stemmed from a simple need to provide handcrafted honey pots, plates, bowls and platters by potters who enjoy the craft of pottery and have a disdain for gimmicks of today's retail shops. In contrast to a world of machine-made, from a big-box store tableware, Honey House provides beautiful tableware to discerning clientele who appreciate one-of-a-kind pottery.
Honey House is focused on serving you. We 'bee-lieve' in providing you with a unique old fashioned shopping experience, reminiscent of bygone days on Main Street USA.
Nestled in the rolling piedmont countryside of Virginia, the Honey House, sits in a historical area where pottery was once crafted from the red clay dug out of the local ground. In contrast, our potters spend their time at the potter's wheel rather than digging their clay from the ground. Honey House uses clay and glazes made in the USA, safe for dinnerware.
